Bobby Pruett, Marshall's Head Football Coach, was the guest speaker at Cincinnati Archbishop McNicholas High School's Sports Stag, on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2001. There were around 750 McNick supports and 25 Marshall fans attending. Coach Pruett was entertaining and funny. Everyone enjoyed Coach Pruett's speech.
Tom Smyth, 1970 McNick and 1974 Marshall grad., was recognized with a plaque for scoring the first Marshall touchdown in 1971 and scoring the first basket in McNick's new gyn in 1970.
The food was good (prime rib), and everyone had a fun evening. Brewskys were a flowin.
Coach Pruett is a "God Send". Go Herd!
